cca's are the most powerful tool that local government have for significantly accelerating local clean energy and jobs. and really making that difference. clean power sf, can bring us clean energy. it's economic benefit at competitive rates for all rate payers. it can do that today we are striving with the program to get a well designed plan to get us there. and unfortunately we see some proposed courses of action that are attached to very high and not to exceed rate that would not lead to a successful program t environmental worker and social group to get us a program that would give us local clean energy and green jobs benefits, we only will accept a program that really meets those basic goals and a program that would under cut a program that will get to those goals later. a program with high rates and opt outs and will harm their reputation. other cca 's have been meeting those goals. it doesn't do m uch to undo the bad reputation of high cost and high popularity and high opt out that will fact other cca's they have then roment and people opting out. it's a very entrusted mechanism

reason why it's failing is because they -- a certain organization misrepresented facts to the federal government and they're not getting funding. i think that we should be very circumvent on how we vote on this. and i think that the notice should be 45 days. my reason? it takes two weeks for it to get to my neighborhood from the planning commission. there is a hearing right now, a pre-application meeting that i still haven't gotten a notice on. tonight it goes to 9 o'clock. this has been a wonderful day in city hall. and -- but i think that to allow something that is on appeal to keep building and keep processing, i think that we are hurting ourselves and setting our self-up for big lawsuits if something should fail under the c-e-q-a process. ~ with the appeals. and if somebody continues to build while they're going through the process, on the project, then all of a sudden they say they can't do it for valid c-e-q-a actions, then all of a sudden who gets it? the city. so, i think we really should be very, very, very careful on how we do it. i think this is a great beginning. i think it's pretty

under the commissioner's policy governing the use of commissioners open space fund of the reserve the commissioners may propose projects to be funded from the reserve. i am happy to report that commissioner was funding the youngblood coleman tennis and basketball courts from the reserve. commissioner levitan is also proposing funding for the grattan park tennis courts also. commissioner low is proposing funding for the improvements of the herz play ground courts. over the last weeks the project team including the operations staff visited the sites. we visited the youngblood coleman and herz sites and with community stakeholders are here today to talk about this. also the gm was there to see the conditions of the courts, and all can confirm that they're in need of immediate repairs. the project budget as i said is $416,000. the source of funding is from the commissioner's reserve itself of the open space. i will be happy
